This high-voltage detection and display device (VDIS) has been developed by our company in response to user requirements. It features a clear LCD screen for real-time voltage status display and includes a test button on the panel, allowing users to verify that the display is functioning correctly.
To facilitate dual-circuit phase testing on-site, the device is equipped with dedicated phase test terminals on the indicator panel. It is suitable for indoor high-voltage electrical equipment with voltages ranging from 7.2 kV to 40.5 kV and frequencies of 50/60 Hz.
The VDIS employs a capacitive voltage divider for precise voltage detection and provides integrated three-phase continuous indication along with signaling contacts. For enhanced flexibility, the device can be optionally fitted with an adjustable capacitor to maximize functionality.
Important Safety Notice: The display of the VDIS alone cannot confirm that the system is de-energized. In case of any doubt, or when required by operational procedures, a voltage detector compliant with DL740 standards should also be used for verification.

LCD Display and Status Indication
The VDIS adopts a clear LCD display interface that allows technicians to monitor voltage status directly from the panel. The device provides different indication modes according to the detected voltage level:
- No voltage indication when voltage is below 10% Un
- Partial indication during intermediate voltage conditions
- Full indication when voltage exceeds 45% Un
- Self-test confirmation through the front-panel test button
The built-in test button allows users to verify display functionality before operation, helping improve operational confidence during field inspections.
Phase Testing and Safety Functions
To support on-site maintenance and phase comparison, the indicator panel includes dedicated phase test terminals for dual-circuit phase testing. The Q50S lockout version also supports signaling contacts and interlocking functions for enhanced operational safety.
The system can work together with disconnectors, grounding switches, and capacitive sensors to provide accurate live-voltage indication in the primary circuit. This helps reduce the risk of incorrect grounding operations and unintended access to energized compartments.
